“Reorder” cannot find an order I placed yesterday — why?
Short answer: Linnworks indexes processed orders into its searchable history on a delay — typically 12 to 24 hours. Reorder reads that index, so yesterday's order may genuinely not be visible yet. This is Linnworks behaviour, not a bug in the tool.
Why the index exists
Searching millions of historic order lines fast requires an index rather than live queries. The trade-off is freshness — which is invisible until you try to reorder something very recent.
The workaround
Build the order manually this once; it is usually only a handful of lines. Or wait overnight if it is not urgent. If the customer reorders the same thing constantly, the deeper fix is a saved draft or a standing arrangement rather than repeatedly reaching for reorder.
What it is not
It is not a lost order, and it is not a failed integration. Search the order by reference in Linnworks and you will find it sitting exactly where it should be — just not yet in the search index that reorder consults.
